ABOUT ME
My name is Diana.
The journey that brought me here has been long, difficult, and empowering.
I became a Makeup Artist 12 years ago and spent many years in living California with my husband, enjoying my work by making people feel beautiful. I have always had a true passion for the art, but even more so than the craft itself, I enjoyed how it made people feel.
When I was 32 my husband and I moved to New Orleans and not long after we got here I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I went through chemo, radiation, a double mastectomy - the works. During this time the only thing that I found solace in was my art. I painted and I painted and I painted. And it helped heal me.
After meeting people who went through the same experience, and seeing how it effected their confidence and sense of security, I felt an overwhelming urge to help. It was in that moment between; desperately trying to get out of my own post cancer rut, and the inspiration to make a difference in peoples lives, that this idea took shape. And now we’re here and I can’t thing of a more perfect thing.
My journey as both a makeup artist and a breast cancer survivor has given me a profound appreciation for resilience, beauty, and self-expression. With every procedure I bring skill and precision but also deep empathy and care. Because I care. I care so much. My goal is to create results that enhance someones life in a big or a small way. To highlight their beauty, while offering an experience where each person feels truly seen, valued, and at home in their own skin.
